I have a keeper league Draft starting today...HELP ME!!

His, closers can be found cheap later in the draft. The combination of those pitcher's eras and whips will more than make up for the faulty eras and whips of cheaper closers. I'd much rather have the stud SPs.

If this is a yahoo keeper league, you might want to think about taking Longoria soon.

An OF who i think is finally going to come into his own this year is Hermida.

Also it doesnt look like anybody has Rich Hill yet. He's just as good a bet at Zambrano at almost a fraction of the cost.

Some other names i really like this year are

Adrian Gonzalez
Edwin Encarnacion
Billy Butler

Those guys will likely be gone in the next couple rounds.

what are your guys thoughts on James Loney and Paul Konerko
as a first baseman?

who would be a better pick at third both Alex Gordon and Ryan Zimmerman they are both left.

Zimmerman over Gordon and Loney over Konerko. My bad i forgot about Loney. I didnt realize Zimmerman was still there. Definitely take him if he's still available. He's a stud now and his numbers will get even better in the new park.

I was a fool and didnt check this thread before I picked..I took Konerko, by another site i use he was the best 1Bmen left. most of this league allready have a 1st basemen and I hope Loney can get back to me so I can take him.. for my UTL spot. I plan on taking Zimmerman in round 6 as everybody but me and another player have a 3rd basemen and I pick before him next round. so I'll take Zimmerman... unless somebody takes him to screw me over, which one player tried to do.

EDIT: oh crap I see a poster this morning who picks before me next round who needs a 3Bmen...I really hope he takes a OF or a SP instead.

Holy crap. i was looking at the alphabetical list for your league and didnt see that anybody had Chris Young OF. That is a definite grab if he's still there. Could be the next guy to join the 40/40 club.

Yes, Loney is good for avg. But Youngs avg. will get better. He's the next Beltran.
