Hard decision

With Bailey sure to be coming up shortly... Id need to drop a pitcher to add him to my roster. The thing is, I like who I have alot. Who would be the best to drop from this staff.

The only one I can see off the top of my head would be Olsen, but he was a bit of a reclimation project for me to work with lol. Alot of faith went into adding him to my roster at the beginning of the season.

Do you really need all those closers. I would much rather have Olsen than Bailey at this point. Don't let Bailey's minor league numbers fool you.

Its a H2H points league in Sportsline and closers get 8 points per save plus 2 points per inning pitched and 1 point per k.... -1 per ER and -.5 for hits and walks

what's the deal here? keeper, non-keeper?

you can't drop an active closer, and none of those SPs are droppable either except for olson. i know olson's doing well but that 1:1 K:BB ratio is pretty sketchy.

if it's just for this year, olson and bailey seem like pretty similar bets to me.

i'd probably try to make a trade to create room while you still have time.

Its a dynasty league, 10 Team Sportsline H2H Points.

Thinking your right OPEC with the trade suggestion. I should be able to make up a decent package to clear out some room on the roster.

With regards to Olsens 1:1 K to BB ratio, to be honest I like seeing that out of him right now. To me is shows that he is concentrating on "pitching" and control (of himself as well as his stuff) rather that trying to blow people away. I see it as a nice step in his actually trying to mature some. The K's will come in time I think.
