Here is the league breakdown:
I am in a Roto style league with 5 other managers (yes small, it is an office league). I need help regarding a counter trade offer:

I start (2)C, (2)1B, (2)2B, (2)3B, (2)SS, (5)OF, (2)UTIL, (3)SP, (3)RP, (4)P AND (3) BENCH.

Stats include: R, HR, RBI, SB, FPCT, OBP, W, SV, K, HLD, ERA, WHIP.

I currently have a 14 run lead on 2nd place, 30 HR lead on 2nd place and about a 7 RBI lead on 2nd place and lead in OBP. I am last in SB's and share last place in FPCT. i also have about a 20 save lead on 2nd place and hurting in wins and K. The manager i am trading with is first in all the stats I am not and mid range in all the stats that I lead in. here is my roster:

I picked up Jay Bruce in case he is called up soon. I offered this other manager Manny Ramirez and Mariano Rivera for Carl Crawford and Daisuke Matsuzaka. I thought it was a pretty good offer but the manager wasn't happy with it. He is countering verbally saying he would accept it but he wants utley instead of Ramirez. Now Smoltz would be going into the RP role so i should be fine for RP's. My issue is, Figgins is on the DL so I have no one I can put in that 2b position unless I drop some one on my roster and pick a 2b up of waivers. It just seems like I am giving up a lot more now, on the other hand I am taking a lot of steals and wins away from this manager and adding them to my team. I should surpass him after this trade by the end of June, at least gain ground on the other managers in front of me and only loose partial ground on the stats I currently lead in. Should I make the trade? All help is greatly appreciated.
