I know he was scheduled to start Single A today.

He is also supposed to be a hopeful to return shortly after all-star break.

Does anyone have any inside info on how he is progressing or what his value or role for the remainder of the season may be?

I recall his injury (torn labrum) being viewed as a possible career ending injury shortly after it occurred. Did it turn out not as bad, or has he just completely overachieved his prognosis?

In my fantasy league, he is a free agent. I believe most people forgot about him. I have three bench spots I usually use to add "spot" players (or guys that I just play for one day and typically drop). I would not mind using a roster spot on Kelvim if he is looking good. I just would like some details on his potential impact this season.

Also, this isn't much rush for the Angels starting pitching wise. They have Lackey, Santana, Saunders, Garland, and Weaver. They are all looking great last I checked.

Any advice or help?

Last i heard he will likely be a RP for the rest of the year. Makes sense, no need to put stress on someone when you dont need to. The Angels are going to win the west easily.
