CDM games

Anyone here play the CDM games? I switched to them a few years ago from TSN. I was looking for the TSN game simular to the Diamond Challenge this year and it seems to be gone. They seem to be focusing on stock market type games.

Yes, I played the CDM games for 7 years now, basketball, and baseball for 7 and football for 3 - have won money at it too...but, OA I am a bit behind - play the budget game - it is free if you don't want to make any moves - In basketball right now, we get one free move each week, it was the same with baseball last year and probably the same this year - Personally, I pay the 25 for the package of moves (basketball, it is 120) - but, budget is not roto sometimes, sometimes, its points

I played CDM once and it was the biggest rip off ever. They must make tons of $$$ with that game. $10 a pop for each transaction kills the wallet. Personally those stock market type games don't keep me interested. Although they say that they are the new frenzy in fantasy baseball.

I used to use a site called WallStreetSports. I'm not sure if this is the same kind of thing, but you bought shares in players, just like you would in companies. The values were determined by demand. You started with $1,000,000 and by the end I had turned it into like $4,000,000,000. Shares in players ranged from like $15 to like $500. It got kind of boring though because by the end I had more money than there were players to invest (there was a 5,000 share limit on every player).

The diamond challenge paying out $25000. Putting in about $400, would be great.

Their new game High Roller - $1000 bucks ( no extra charges) to get. I think $75000 to the based on entries. Would put a smile on my face.

i've played the cdm games a few times over the years. they are a pretty good time, a bit pricey if you dont win, but if you do there are some pretty big payouts...overall i would recommend it

As you can tell in my previous message, I like CDM games, but, only the budget one, anymore - the money for the diamond challenge is very pricey at 2.50/change/player each week - and that many players on the field ( I think its around 21) man, I can't even remember how much, as I haven't played that one in a couple of years...but, the budet and maybe the internet challenges are ok - but, they kind of change each year, and it might be scoring by points system,not roto --- just have to look and listen to the forums (OH, and a minor point might be to know your players). YOu will only be playing againest a couple 0r 3000 teams (ok, they have a little league/division money too) --- you know rotochamps should have a FANTASTIC setup next season, (Jackie doesn't have enuf to do) and we should have a fun time here too - Its already well on its way and its exciting ... so, don't get to wrapped up in those other games. Rotochamp says its going big and may just have something extra besides the camaradrie and opinions of people that are, at the very least, honest about them. lets not think about other places, and have a good time at this site - my favorite free site this year and probably my favorite pay site in years following --- I understand that they will have things setup so that you can make any type of team you want to (no nudes), we will be able to bend them and shape any league we put together...and it will work...4x4, 5x5, auction and even points leagues, huh CHAMPS? GREEAAAAATTT!!! What? YOu didn't have some ideas? OOOOOPPPPSSSSSSSs...time for me to leave

i agree that this site should be pretty sweet next yr... i'm kindof a newbie here, just kinda found it by accident and i like what i see... and firedup, i have some family from wenatchee...highly doubt that you'd know em, but their names are ganyo and sadler, just thought i'd thorw that in...later y'all

Sorry, Happy, I don't know many people around here - I may have lived here for the past 8 years, but, I don't go out much or associate with many people - getting close to 60 and have a few medical problems and I am stuck on my computer most the time, anyhow - made a nice little bundle on the stock market today, and if I can do that 1 time/week, I live pretty well. Just started out in the Under a Penny market and it is a hoot - man, you can buy 30000shares/.002/share of a company and if it goes up to a Penny you have made about 400 bucks, or more (and they often do). If you are ever out this way, let me know and we can go lift a couple or something
Yeah, this site should be something else next season, and its great already. People are nice and its a nice friendly atmoshpere.

Have been playing them for four years now. Best finnish so far was fifth place in Diamond Challenge.Have finnished third in playoff game twice. Played Diamond Challanged first three years the High Roller last year.
