11 Team, NL only, 5X5 league, 14 hitters/9 pitchers roster and $260 salarly cap. I can keep for players and am deciding between the following for my 4th keeper. Any advice as to which one to pick?

Ryan Freel $8
Michael Barrett $9
Miguel Cabrera $30

Of the three, I would keep Cabrera at $30. That's probably about what you'd have to pay on draft day for him. Barrett at $9 is a bit high. Freel at $8 is the best deal on the surface, but his playing time this season is questionable. Right now, he is a backup at 2B, 3B and he's the 5th outfielder. Of course, the Reds have notoriously injury-prone outfielders, so he could still get 400 or so at-bats.

Cabrera for sure with delgato giving him more protection. He could have a great season. Also keeper league what is the kid 23?You might keep him the next 10 years!

Though I would like more imformation for example who are the other 3 keepers you have already decided on and what was there cost? I would say with the imformation you have givin Cabrera is the right choice, the kid is young, He is a Long term investment with nothing but up side in return, and he still hasn't hit his prime.

I think it depends on the other 3 keepers.

I like Cabrera even more with Delgado behind him and at 30 bucks, that is where he will probably go in an NL only auction.

But if your other 3 keepers all have really high salaries, then it comes down to your strategy.
