I JUST MADE A TRADE, WHAT DO YOU THINK?

I JUST TRADED CARL EVERRETTE, Edmonds.html]Jim Edmonds[/url], AND JIMMY Rollins. FOR Alex Rodriguez AND Bernie Williams. I KNOW BERNIE IS ON THE DL FOR 4-6 Weeks BUT I HAVE MANNY, Sheffield, Burrell, Abreu, AND Bonds IN THE OUTFIELD. SO I CAN WAIT ON HIM. DO YOU THINK THIS TRADE BENEFITTED ME OR DID I LOSE ON THIS ONE? MY HOLE LINE UP IS LISTED IN A PREVIOS MESSAGE.

Well I Personally like the trade for two reasons.

#1 - ARod will put up outstanding numbers all season with minimal risk to injury, at a thin position. Also when Bernie is in the lineup he is one of the most valuable fantasy players.

#2 - I do not believe in Everett's ability to stay healthy and Edmonds always slows down in the second half.

So I think it was a gutsy move, but one I would endorse.

I WANTED A ROD BAD, BUT I DO WORRY THAT BERNIE MAY BE OUT FOR LongER THAN THEY ARE SAYING. I WAS JUST OFFERED A TRADE Marcus Giles FOR Pudge RODRIGUEZ. I HAVE PAUL LODUCA ALSO. WITH THE LINE UP I GAVE YOU IN THE PAST WOULD THIS BE A GOOD MOVE OR NOT. I LIKE Pudge BUT HE SEEMS TO BE SITTING QUITE A BIT LATELY WHICH AIN'T HELPING ME ANY. LODUCA IS PLAYING IN COLORODO THIS WEEK SO I HAVE HIM STARTING. I ALSO PICKED UP FRED McGriff ON THE HUNCH THAT HE WILL HAVE A GOOD SERIES IN COLORODO ALSO WHAT DO YOU THINK?

I like Marcus Giles alot. Pudge was sitting alot becuase he left the team for family reasons. When he returned he slighty twisted his ankle and had to rest a few days.

With that said I think Giles would be a good pickup for you. I would not have felt this way before but you just had Hairston go down. He is having a screw put in his foot which can't be good for his base stealing.

Giles will fill your MI slot nicely and LoDuca is a decent catcher to have in your lineup. I would go for it.

i just want to say , without knowing if you have a backup for Rollins that.

You made a great move. Trading Everett now is a wise move since I have no faith in him in maintaining his health or batting stats.

Getting A rod is allways a good move and bernie will be back and more than likely go on a tear.

Just depends on your backup for Rollins like i said, but im sure you have covered that base.
