Legue description:

"The Mario Mendoza Memorial League of Fantasy Baseball is designed to give team owners an experience that is as similar to owning a major league baseball team as is possible in a weekly fantasy league. League roster and transaction rules have been drawn up to mimic actual major league baseball rules as closely as possible. Standings are based on advanced sabermetric techniques that use all the stats that matter, and only those stats. Batter performance is based on Extrapolated Runs, a model that predicts team runs scored based on a weighted sum of all batter-controlled offensive events. This includes events such as walks, stolen bases and GIDP, but exludes RBIs and runs, which are highly team-dependent. Pitcher performance is based on the bottom-line stats: runs allowed and innings pitched. League standings are calculated using Bill James' Pythagorean theorem: RS2/(RS2+RA2). All teams earn money based games won and position in the standings. "

It's nice to finish 1st but I made a profit with the team since it is a GM simulation. There's no playoffs so Billy Beane could win in thiis league playing moneyball.
