I am in a keeper league and the following 3Bs are off the board.

I could grab Chipper or Lowell in one of the first 5 rounds or i could wait

Thoughts on the following:
Encarnacion
Kouz
Gordon
Reynolds
Longoria

While I would like future value i also need current production. Am i crazy for waiting on one of these guys and who should i target?

I cant belive i'm doing this, giving a cub fan advice..but here it gose

I'd grab Chipper Jones when you can, hes got big tex batting in front of him, and young stud OF'er jeff francouer hitting behind him, providing hes healthy he will drive in 100 with 25-30 homers..the I'd take this young kid gordon in the later rounds if you can if gordons gone I'd take enc, he should have a breakout year in 08.

In a keeper I would take Longoria. He might start the year in AAA but he'll be up soon and is going to be a star.

i would take chipper if you get the chance, but if you do, you need a reliable backup for when he gets hurt. i really like kouzmanoff and gordon this year if you don't get chipper...or maybe target them as a backup even if you do get chipper

thanks guys. My offensive keepers going in are:
Hanley, Phillips, Holliday, Granderson and D Lee. I kind of like the idea of waiting since I will probably go after a power bat with my first pick. Given that I have 50 HR out of my middle infield where most people have 35 I can afford slightly less production at 3B. That being said I've always been a Chipper fan, but the health is a big question and not sure worth jumping on with an early pick.
