If you were going to trade one of these pitchers during the offseason, who would it be and why? Edinson Volquez, Justin Verlander, Cole Hamels, Matt Cain, or Chad Billingsley. I am in a ten player keeper league and I am planning on keeping four pitchers and six hitters. If I keep five pitchers I would have to cut some good hitters. The six hitters that I would keep are Matt Kemp, Adrian Gonzalez, Corey Hart, Alex Gordon, Chris Davis, and Adam Jones. I know Verlander has had a bad year but I think that he will be back to his old self next year and will be a 20 game winner. Volquez is starting to tail off. Adam Jones was just starting to hit before he got injured. I was thinking about trading Volquez and a decent hitter such as Vernon Wells for a good hitter during the offseason. Any suggestions.

i like that idea. I like volquez, and believe he will be good, but not near as good as he is pitching now. Sell High. Try to get a top notch 2b with volquez/wells if you can, hardest position to fill.
