Would you deal Hunter Pence $5 for Jacoby Ellsbury $6?

What about Clayton Kershaw $6 for Ellsbury?

This is in a 12 team 5x5 mixed keeper league with 15 keepers and a $260 cap.

Do not, i repeat do not trade Kershaw for Ellsbury. I like Pence over Ellsbury. If Ellsbury was on any other team his value wouldnt be that high.

Elsbury will be an annual threat to steal 50 bases for years to come and like I've said over and over and over again your pitching is so strong that you won't miss Clayton Cy Young Kershaw.

It blows me away how some value pitching so highly over hitters. Pitching is plentiful in 12 team leagues. TRADE KERSHAW FOR ELSBURY.

I can start 5 OF and another at our DH/UTIL spot, but I also have Braun moving to OF next year....giving me Braun, Sizemore, Markakis, Beltran, and Pence as my 5 primary OF.

That is why I initially asked about dealing Pence for Ellsbury. That would free up an OF spot.

FWIW, I also really like Carlos Gonzalez from Oakland, but am not sure he is worth keeping above any of the previously listed OF.

I like Pence over both Ellsbury and Gonzalez. He wont get as many steals as Ellsbury, but he has better balance. I prefer the balance of a 25/20-25 guy over a 10/50 guy, but thats me.

I am always a big fan of trading pitchers for hitters - but if you were going to trade Kershaw, can't you get a young outfielder who will help you in more categories?
