Why would you want Leiter in that deal? He is dealing with injury issues this year.

other than the shoulder tendonitis he has now, has he been hurt elsewhere this year? I am expecting him to come back and it seems that he has thrown well so far this year. I would then pick up Biddle for another closer. If you would not dothis deal, would you do Sheff & Maddux for Vasquez and Abreu?

NO Leiter has not been hurt more than that but tendinitis usually lingers all season.

I would do the 2 for 2 deal.

i wouldnt do it, you dont need the starting pitching, youve only got 2 closers and you need at least 3, plus Sheffield is way better than abreau once he gets going

Yes I would still do it though it does make it alot closer. Abreu is playing well while Sheff is struggling. His discipline is fine but he is lacking in the power dept. He changed leagues and has ligament damage in his hand which will plague him all year. Also a few days ago Sheffield suffered a minor ribcage injury which is also affecting his swing.
