This trade was vetoed by the members of my league. Note: I am not one of the teams involved.

10 team keeper league. NL only. We keep 8 keepers.

Team A gets: ·Hardy, J.J. SS MIL
·Van Benschoten, John SP PI


Team B gets: ·Byrnes, Eric CF ARI
·DeRosa, Mark 2B CHC

Team A is out of playoff contention and his keeper options are limited due to the suckiness of his team.

Any thoughts?

I am not sure I see a huge problem with this trade. Getting Hardy in an NL could make him a keeper, although Byrnes would be a risk with his free agency coming. I think Team B does better for this year, and A does better for the future.

I'm not 100% sure why this was vetoed (I don't play NL-only), but if I were to guess, is Team B in 1st or 2nd place?

Yes, Team B is in 2nd in his division and tied with 2 other teams for 3rd best record in the league. Division winners and 2 wild cards make playoffs.
