who would you target if you were in my shoes? or should I hold onto Phillips as a keeper?

I'm not inpressed, how about you..think this is a lowball? his excuss for not offering more: "Because Beltran and Utley are both on the DL, I don't have a ton of offense to spare"

The idea behind a 2 for 2 offer would be that since you're giving up the best player, that the other two would be plenty to make up the difference.

That's not even close. Even with Ellis hitting like he is, its not.

I'd hold Phillips. He's going to be the #2 2B next year behind Utley, just ahead of Roberts.

Don't know how you are doing this year, but what about getting Utley in return?

I'm currently 6th and in the middle of the pack ten. how soon would Utley be back?

Utley is probably back early September. If you're ready to pack it in for the year, ask for him. He'll be much better than Phillips still next year, when you're building again.

I'm going to hold onto Phillip. I've rejected his lowball offer and i'm not gonna pack it in. I'm 6th so i'm going to shoot for a top 5 finish.
