Get rid of Dontrelle Willis. He may get you wins but he'll also kill your era and whip. Trade him as soon as you can.

I'm concerned about my rotation abit. I dont really see any ACES on , I might trade Vlad and D-train for a ACE type SP(Becket CC, Peavy Webb)

You drafted too many offensive bench players who will most likely waste away roster space all season long. Your pitching suffered as a result. Your staff is not horrible by any means though, decent, but could use some help. Cut some of those bum offensive bench players.

I would definitely keep Rasmus and Towles, they arent bums by any stretch of the imagnination. They are definite long term keepers. I would prolly keep Cabrera too, because its useful to have a guy who qualifies for SS, 2b on the bench. I would think about trading Duncan and Teahen for another pitcher. Duncan should have decent value right now, and if you're good at selling him even Teahen has value. Chavez is garbage. I really hope you didnt draft him too early. You need to try and move him too. I would at least try to move 2 of your bench players, preferrably Teahen and Chavez, because they are your worst bench players but prolly wont net you anything in return. You'll prolly need to trade Duncan with Chavez or Teahen to get a halfway decent pitcher.

I don't like Willis either but I disagree with those who say a return to form is impossible. He's on a veteran team now with Jim Leyland, maybe the best possible situation.

But I would hedge my bets with him, and with Guthrie. Depending on your league rules re: how many pitchers you must field and/or start you may wish to allocate a bench spot to a solid middle reliever or extra starter.
Honestly I don't see any value in Chavez, so I would dump him if you go this route. If you can trade Chavez for anyhting useful, do it.

Think your best trade bait is Cabrera. Someone in your league is going to be in the crapper at 2B. I would not try to trade Teahen as his value is very low after last year.

those offesive BN players came in the latter rounds, Rosineater your the first one to back me on my reasoning behind taking Willis, I can keep 6 players from this roster, Maybe I should Trade Jones for Zimmerman aswell

i would trade a few of your offensive guys for an ace. You don't have enough strikeouts and each of your starters has far more downside than upside. I think Maine and Hill performed at a high level and don't know how much more room there is. Francis I love but his park will always hold him back. Buerle just doesn't miss any bats which means he is fairly dependent on his defense. Cabrera should help that but still not a huge fan.

would you do this trade?

I get:

Prince Fielder
Josh Backett

He gets

Jose Reyes
Player TBD probbly Rich Hill

another option would be sending me Brandon Webb, for Vlad.

I would jump on the Vlad/Webb swap. You improve Vlads power with Prince and I think webb is better than Beckett. Less injury prone, and I think he is actually more consistent. Besides Vlad is on the way down and you aren't giving up the speed of Reyes.

The one thing I don't like is that Hill is your best pitcher, and I think you might be better off upgrading your 2nd and 3rd pitchers rather than just your first.

Either way i like the Vlad option a lot.

If you want to totally punt steals and play without a shortstop....this is the way to go. Who is going to fill the numbers Vlad gives you should you make the deal for Webb? Duncan? The minor leaguer Rasmus? An upgrade at pitcher and a major loss in offense is what you'd be doing here.

I wouldnt do the Fielder/Beckett deal. Although it is a more than fair offer, you have nobody to cover SS after you lose Reyes. Cabrera wont make up for that loss. The other offer is interesting. I do think Bay will rebound somewhat, especially if he gets traded, which appears likely and Webb is freaking awesome. I think you lose about 30-35 rbi but gain a cy young pitcher. PUll the trigger.

Along with the loss of 30 or more rbi's, your team batt. avg. takes a nose dive by dealing a lock for .320-.330 in Vlad. Hard to pass up the trade but I personally wouldn't do it. I find it much easier to fill in pitching gaps off the wire in addition to making trades. I honestly don't think your staff is THAT bad where you need to deal Vladdy.

How many teams are there? Is this a deep league? I will assume it is a deep league with some of those players you have rostered. If it's a 12 team league or lesss, I'd be willing to bet I'd find much more useful players, particularly pitchers, on the wire over those bums on your bench who will never see the light of day in your active lineup. Counting on a rebound from Bay is risky. Don't be in such a rush to deal a .325 25-30 125 90 player so quickly.
