Depends. If its a one year league, yes use it. If its a dynasty, definitely wait for Kershaw.

it's a keeper, but someone already has the rights to kershaw (we can draft rights to a player, but then lose a roster spot until they are called up.)

i would say do it. He is obviously a better pitcher than edgar gonzalez. Randy Johnson will likely get injured and his career is about up. He could easily be the #4 starter by the end of the year. And its always a gamble to wait and see if anybody better comes up, because they might not. Although, i usually like to wait till late august/september to use my waiver because a lot of prospects get the call then due to roster expansions.
