keeper help

hi im in a ten team nl only 6x6 roto keeper league and im working on my freeze roster right now we can keep 15 players on our frozen rosters. our starting roster is 25 players 14 hitters 10 pitchers and 1 utility
and i would like a little advice with my keepersand their contracts
we get to keep players for 2 years then have to sign them Long term for 5.00 a year or pick up their option
we get 280 to spend on our rosters here are the players i can keep i will star the players im thinking of keeping

ba, hrs, rbi,sbs,rs,oba, era, wins ,so, whip, holds,and saves

Think you're on the right track with the hitters, except maybe Spivey - I don't think $10 in your format is good value. I'd keep him only if there are slim pickins at 2B. I'd tie up Renteria, too (position scarcity). I don't know how good your leaguemates' keeper lists are but I'd say you have some nice value in that lot!

Your format favours relievers pretty heavily. For sure keep Ayala and Cormier and I'd take a look at Shuey, too -- he's pretty reliable. I'd avoid starters with questionable ERA/WHIP because you're already getting nothing from starters in terms of saves and holds. Both Perezes will kill you. I'm not big on Sheets, either, though I know many are. With the money you are saving on offence you should be able to afford the more marquee starters and closers.
