You should really give some context when posting a question like this, like scoring categories, bare minimum.

That said, I think these guys are pretty close. In a vacuum I'd say Cantu might give you a few more RBI's and that might be the difference.

Thumbs Up Cantu and position eligibility.

Think the other question becomes what will the value drop off be for the position that you don't fill with one of these two players.

Both are fantastic looking kids

Cantu may have a bigger power upside but a SS who hits 25 is fantastic too,its a toss up,i agree with cliff that depth in the draft may be the decision breaker

but if i had to choose one id say cantu

I have to go with Cantu here. I like both very much, and there age is very close so you really can't go wrong either way but i would take Cantu this year as I feel he will have the better year and better career. If Cantu can learn to be just a little more patient and draw walks he will be a force to wreckon with.
